In this course, you will learn the basic knowledge of police law, criminal investigation and other related topics regarding public safety in Japan.

For either topic, we will start from single function, and then it will be extended to multiple functions. The language components of the course are speaking, listening and open discussion. Students improve on these skills through weekly speech projects done either individually or in small groups.
