半導体技術の発達によって、高性能で小型の電子機器が簡単に設計構築できるようになった。
最近では、商用のソフトウエアのみならず、高機能なオープンソースプログラミング環境が整ってきた。したがって、最近では比較的安価に、高性能なCPUにモニターやオペレーティングシステムを載せ、ユーザが望むアプリケーションを設計し、構築・実装できる。
授業では、幅広く利用されている周辺機器インターフェースの代表である、シリアル通信を中心に、bluetooth組み込みシステムの設計・実装法を紹介する。
ハードウエアとファームウエア(プログラム)設計・構築、パソコンだけでなく、スマートフォーンとのインターフェース、アプリケーション設計・構築を詳しく解説する。
The goal of this course is to stimulate students and to defy stereotype for thinking up new ideas. Another goal of this course is for students to learn the practice and the rope in venture business. Distinguished speakers will give their talks on the latest technology, intellectual property strategy,
security business, business strategy, politics, accountability, wisdom, and
related venture capital views/policies for incubating new businesses.
How modern Japan became status quo? They hardly protected its independence around middle 19th century, and only 50 years later, they got a position and reputation as one of the great power countries in the world. After hard defeated at WW2, they came back the top stage of the world economics only 30 years efforts. This “success” story very attracts people who has been interested in the way of development, sometimes it ties with the curiosity of Japanese culture.
It would be hard to answer the question “What’s Japan?”, not only Japanese but also others. We should have opportunities to ruminate the past, the present, and the future of “Japan”.
This lecture intend to enhance each other recognition and answers with a crow's nest view from various area all over the globe.
Art and Computation
Our lectures will mainly introduce modernistic studies on nationalism. Specifically our lectures consists of three parts: In the first part, we will review theoretical frameworks provided by Fichte, Rousseau, E.Gellner, A.D.Smith, B.Anderson and so on. In the second part, we will consider interactions between nationalism and other factors (ex. economy, history, geopolitics, religions etc.). In the third part, we will analyse Chinese nationalism as a study case.
Pada liburan musim panas dan semi, kami membuka program Bahasa Indonesia di Indonesia yang bertujuan untuk belajar bahasa dan budaya di lingkungan penutur asli.
Persyaratan utama untuk mengikuti program ini adalah telah menyelesaikan Intensif 2. Program ini dilaksanakan di Indonesia selama 1 bulan. Selama program mahasiswa akan tinggal bersama dengan keluarga angkat, orang Indonesia. Setelah menyelesaikan program ini, mahasiswa akan mendapat 4 SKS. Tahun in program akan dilaksanakan di Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana, Salatiga.

Although the French Section will support students with their registration for schools and programs, please note that we will not accompany them to their training locations. For this reason, we ask students to take initiative in planning and participating in activities related to this course. There is no specific French level required for enrollment in this course, for students will be placed in different classes based on their placement test results. For this semester, the list of schools is as follows:

2. L’Alliance Française Bordeaux Aquitaine (France, Bordeaux)

This class addresses the design and creation of multimedia databases (image, video, music and text databases), data mining and semantic associative processing. The most important objective of this lecture is to develop knowledge and skills for designing and creating multimedia databases and multimedia systems with experimental practice. It is essential to study how to analyze, store, retrieve and integrate media data (image, video, music and text) in a database system environment. An actual database system is used to create experimental multimedia databases and applied it to WWW system environments. We also design a meta-level multimedia system with data miniing processes for new-multimedia creation.
発見的手法(heuristic methods)のニューラルコンピューティングは実際に社会で幅広く使われている技術です。ニューラルコンピューティングの応用は、クレジットカードの購買振る舞い分析、セキュリティ(従業員の行動・振る舞い分析)、音声認識、など幅広い。ニューラルコンピューティングでは、組み合わせ最適化(combinatorial optimization)、自己組織化(self-organization, self-organization-map)、学習(supervised learning)を中心に学ぶ。また、ヒューリスティック手法と融合しつつある、論理、自動推論(automated reasoning: otter)の応用を学ぶ。Pythonライブラリのscikit-learnを用いて、機械学習を学びながらビッグデータ解析の手法を学ぶ。機械学習の中でもensemble学習に関して詳しく解説する。

This course provides an introduction to learning how the Earth's dynamics works from the point of view of solid earth science. You will briefly learn the history of the Earth and its creations, and the consequence change in environment. You will also learn the mechanism of an earthquake, a tsunami, and a volcanic eruption. You will feel the difference of time and space scales from your everyday life.
空間的発想は空間概念、表現手法、推理過程から構成される集合体である。それは問題発見、問題解決のために空間の意味を理解し、空間の特性を客観的に捉えることによって生まれるものである。空間概念に関しては正しく距離を理解すること、表現手法に関しては空間的視点の間の関係を捉えること、空間推論に関しては空間オブジェクト間の関係を記述し意思決定を行うことが含まれる。この授業は空間的発想に関する代表的概念の学習と演習を通して、学生が
1)空間的に物事を捉える習慣を身につけ、
2)空間的行動力、
3)空間的意思決定力を身につけること
を目的とする。
