    The course has two goals.

    1) The first goal is to obtain basic knowledge about research into the acquisition of second (third or fourth or more) languages. Throughout the course, students will reflect on their own experiences of language acquisition and learning. This expects that they will be aware of the external and internal factors that have influenced or influence their own learning process.

    2) The second objective is to gain linguistic mastery in Spanish to be able to read the basic documents on the subject or to engage in academic discussions on the subject of the course: the acquisition of second languages and the teaching-learning of Spanish as foreign language (ELE)

In order to achieve these two purposes, it is necessary to be familiar with the knowledge accumulated to answer the big question of "how language is learned" in the second language acquisition theory, and to understand each concept correctly.

At the same time, it is extremely important for this course that each person asks their own questions such as "how did I learn Spanish?", "why Spanish is difficult when I was good at English (what, when, and how difficult it was)".
