The purpose of this course is to provide opportunities with students to collect beneficial data or results through fieldwork or research activity within or outside of Japan that is related to students’ research theme. Students are required to submit a "Research/Internship Plan" before their fieldwork begins. To study the skill of human movement including sports, it is necessary to measure physical movement. It is also necessary to measure humans in the same way with devices and systems that aim to improve sports performance. This study group focuses on "measuring humans" and pursues the mechanism of human movement including sports, aiming at research that leads to technological development that supports the improvement of sports performance.

This lecture aims to improve problem-finding skill and presentation skill by conducting discussions on problem solving in group work. Problem-finding and presentation skills are improved by experiences. In order to steadily improve skills in this class, the class will carry out group work on three different themes. Many of the themes are related to the issues that companies actually face in the real world. The entire process of discussion, document preparation, presentation, and evaluation of the presentation contributes to skill improvement.
