This course is about techniques and strategies for making presentations of academic nature. The main objective of the course is to strengthen academic communication competency. The course is taught in English.
The language components of the course are speaking, listening and open discussion. Students improve on these skills through weekly speech projects done either individually or in small groups.
At the end of the course, students will be able to argue and present their personal ideas in a manner that is academically sound and logical.

本コースは企業をはじめ社会の組織のリーダーあるいはその参謀、あるいは将来その様な立場を目指す人、あるいは組織の戦略を研究テーマにしたい人達を対象とする。
競争にさらされる組織の命運を決定付ける諸要因のうち本コースは、５つのP (Plan 計画, Pattern 行動, Position 立ち位置、Perspective 長期的方向性、 Ploy策略)で定義可能な「戦略」と APEC (Aspiration 志、Philosophy 哲学、Ethics倫理観、Commitment使命感)を必要条件としLeadership を十分条件とするリーダーに光をあてる。
この授業では、第二言語としての日本語教育にかかわる事象を扱います。
2019年4月に外国人労働者の受け入れを拡大する改正出入国管理法が施行され、同年6月に、彼らの日本社会への定着を後押しするために、国内で暮らす外国人への日本語教育の充実を促す「日本語教育の推進に関する法律」が成立しました。
この授業では、日本国内での日本語教育の現状と日本語学習を必要とする人々の置かれている状況の理解に重点を置きながら、海外を含めた日本語教育とその過去、そして未来への展望を考えます。
また、日本語の特徴を理解した上で、多様な日本語話者との間でより良いコミュニケーションを追求するために、自分自身の日本語を相手に合わせてコントロールするスキルと態度を学びます。

行列とベクトルを学習します。連立一次方程式の解法、行列式、逆行列など行列やベクトルに関するいろいろな計算を習得すると共に、線形空間とその間の線形写像という抽象的な概念を理解します。行列は一次変換とみなされ、その固有値と固有ベクトル、行列の対角化はそのは一次変換を特徴付けます。統計学を含む多くの分野で現われる概念です。
