本授業は、原則として、科目等履修生の方を対象とする。慶應義塾の学生は、地域情報化論をオンラインで行うのでそちらを受講していただきたい。
本授業では、地域情報化の最新動向を紹介し、その意義、可能性、課題について考察する。特に、情報技術を駆使して、NPO、企業、自治体、大学などの多彩な主体の協働を実現し、地域の問題解決を図ることを目指す「地域情報化プロジェクト」に焦点を当てる。情報技術をいかしたまちづくりの実践、地域活性化や地域情報化政策に関心のある方々を対象とする。
授業では、地域情報化、地域社会学、ネットワーク論や、信頼に関する理論などを整理し、先進的な地域情報化プロジェクトの事例研究を行う。また実践知を育むために、地域情報化プロジェクトを題材にしたケースディスカッション、活躍されているリーダーの講演も適宜取り入れる。そして、地域における創発をもたらすプラットフォーム設計の具体的方策について探究する。
最終成果として、授業での議論や講義内容を参考にして、情報技術を活用した地域の問題解決に資する提言レポートの作成、発表を検討している。
時事問題を中心に、毎週違うテーマを選び、ディベートの練習をする授業です。もし希望があれば、フランス語での小論文の練習やアカデミックなプレゼンテーションのトレーニングをすることもできます。詳しい履修条件については、初回授業のガイダンスで説明します。
In this course, we will focus on the methodology(methodologies) of qualitative research that serves any inquiry into the themes of language and culture. We will not focus on individual methods and techniques (such as interviews and focus-group discussions), but rather on the diverse approaches and the intellectual foundations of these approaches. The course will consist of reading seminars where participating students present a summary of the readings with possible discussion topics, followed by discussion in class. Towards the end of the term, students will also be required to reflect on how they can incorporate and develop the readings into their own research topic and methodology on language and culture.
この授業では、言語と文化の問題を研究する際の質的調査の方法論を扱います。ここでは（インタビューやフォーカス・グループ・ディスカッションなどの）調査の方法と技法に着目するのではなく、質的調査へのアプローチの多様さと、それぞれのアプローチがどのような知的土台に立脚しているのかを理解し、議論できるようになることを目指します。具体的には、このような発想に立ってデザインされた研究書を輪読しつつ、学期末に向けて、それぞれの参加者が言語と文化に関するテーマについて、今回学ぶ内容を研究にどのように生かし、展開できるかを考察し、発表していくことになります。
This course provides an introduction to learn how to prevent or mitigate natural disasters, especially those related to a large earthquake.
You will briefly learn the mechanism of hazards (earthquakes and tsunamis), and the disasters caused by those natural phenomena.
You will also see the limitations of disaster sciences or hardware preparedness such as sea walls, and so the importance of education and communication.
The goal of this course is to summarise what you learned and find a research topic to work on with your group members.
By the end of this course, you will properly present what to do for disaster prevention based on your research. You will also be able to give an advice to your friends on how to live and behave in earthquake prone country.
