This course will combine the basic aspects of the Aynu language, an indigenous language of Northern Japan, and the history, the culture, and the contemporary situation of the Aynu peoples. There is still a widespread misconception that the Japanese society is homogeneous, even after the Japanese government officially recognised the indigenous status of the Aynu peoples in 2008. The Aynu language, in the present 21st century, is no longer used in the everyday lives, but there are active efforts to recover the language among the younger generation, and people still live with memories when the Aynu was more commonly spoken. Keio-SFC is one of the few places where you can learn the language and the cultures of these peoples. Learning their language and culture will enable us to reflect upon the multilingual and multicultural nature of this society we live in.
(Note: This course will be run this academic year 2020 as a GIGA subject, and next academic year 2021 in Japanese.)

デジタル信号処理の基礎をMATLABを用いた実習で学ぶ

人間にとって音楽とは一体何でしょうか。なぜ、私たちヒトの脳・身体には、音楽を聴いてゾクゾクしたり、音楽を聴いて癒されたり、リズムに合わせて踊ったり、歌ったり楽器を演奏したり、音を楽しむ能力が備わっているのでしょうか。私たちが普段何気なく聴き、演奏し、楽しむ音楽は、実はヒトの文化・進化・発達の起源や、社会性や創造性、知覚、認知、運動、記憶、情動、学習といったヒトの脳機能を理解する上で、極めて重要な研究対象です。近年、ヒトの脳機能構造の計測技術は飛躍的な進展を遂げ、これまで謎に包まれていた音楽の脳内情報処理メカニズムが徐々に明らかにされつつあります。本科目では、心理学、神経科学、進化生物学、発達脳科学、身体科学、認知科学の視点を融合し、音楽と脳に関する最先端の研究知見について講義します。

スキルクラスは、インテンシブ２ を修了した学生を対象としています。さらに進んでマレー・インドネシア語の運用能力を高め、将来、同地域で活躍する上での実践的な語彙や社会情勢などを学びます。インドネシア語の表現力や読解力を高めると共に、インドネシア社会や文化に対する理解を深めることを目的とします。スキルクラスは、継続して毎学期履修することが可能です。
