In Japan, environmental policies have been developed in response to the complication of problems, from traditional environmental pollution, to sound material-cycle society and golobal environmental problems. This course provides students with the basic knowledge of major environmental problems including air pollution, water pollution, waste and recycle, climate change, and associated policies and trends.
