Environmental issues in polar regions have been one of the hot topics in global challenges. Throughout the course, students will learn the current environmental issues in both the Antarctic and the Arctic. Topics varies from climate change, human impact, conservation and management, to bioprospecting. By working in group and discuss how to solve these problems, students will gain knowledges on the current environmental issues on earth and skills on developing their own ideas toward the sustainable management and use of the natural resources on earth.
