▼研究会紹介
現場でのフィールド活動や実践を通じて、社会の問題を「教育」や「コミュニケーション」に焦点を当て、考察 していきます。主に7つのプロジェクトに分かれ、それぞれの分野や現場に応じた活動を展開しています。毎週木曜日の研究会の時間に加え、各プロジェクトの活動拠点である、幼・小・中・高等学校、児童クラブ等での教育活動を展開するプロジェクトや、長期休暇を活かした精力的なフィールド活動を行うプロジェクトなど、様々です。2020年度からは、COVID19下で、オンライン・オフラインのハイブリッド型で新たな概念でのフィールドワークに精力的に挑戦し、実施してきています。この状況下では、Stubborn Goal but Flexible Methodの精神が必須であり、その中で本研究会ではCreate the SHIN normalを掲げています。様々な不確定要素だらけの現状において、これまでに築いてきた関係性及びプロジェクトそのものの持続可能性とさらなる進化、普及を見据えて実践的研究活動に精力的に取り組んでいます。オンラインであっても如何に”人間味あふれる、生きたコミュニケーション環境を実現するか”というパイオニア精神にあふれるみなさん、 是非、自らの興味分野に合うプロジェクトを探し、New Originalを携えて研究会で自らに潜在する能力を最大限に発揮し、自分の限界を超えた、その先にある実践的研究活動に挑戦しています。是非、本研究会に現存するプロジェクトから自らの興味・関心に基づいた分野を見つけ出してください。 木曜3〜4限の授業時間を用い、長谷部葉子准教授による教育全体を統括する講義や、グループワークや輪読発表、個人プレゼンなどのワークを行います。それらに加え、時折ゲスト講師による講演を実施。外部の刺激を受け、それぞれの活動に活かします。 木曜5限に行われているサブゼミの時間では、前述のプロジェクトでのミーティングが行われます。各プロジェクトの詳細は、下記に記載します。 木曜6限には、リーダーミーティングを実施。各プロジェクトのリーダー、サブリーダー、SAを中心に研究会をより良いものにするために熱い議論が繰り広げられています。 原則として、履修者は7つのプロジェクトのいずれかに所属していただきます。各プロジェクトでの活動を通して個人の問題意識を明確化し、各自の研究に繋げてゆきます。

■グローカルイングリッシュプロジェクト（Glocal English Project）
▽ プロジェクト紹介：私たちグローカルイングリッシュプロジェクトは国内外の中高生を対象に、大学生それぞれの強みを活かしつつ、各校の特徴に合わせたワークショップを英語で行っています。異文化・自文化理解の促進を目的としており、ここでいう異文化は、自分以外のものや、自分に馴染みのない環境を、自文化は自分自身や自分を取り巻く環境を指しています。活動を通し、プロジェクトメンバーは中高生の意欲・関心の変化やワークショップデザインなど、それぞれ異なる研究テーマを設定し、フィールドワークを通して研究を行っています。当プロジェクトは月数回実施するフィールドワークの参加を必須としています。フィールドワークは各月の火曜日（不定期）で実施されるため、メンバーは【火曜日3限以降】の授業を受講できません。その点も考慮の上での応募をお勧めします。 詳しくは、ホームページをご覧ください。

■コンゴ民主共和国プロジェクト(旧：コンゴ民主共和国ACADEX小学校プロジェクト)
▽プロジェクト紹介：本プロジェクトは、本塾英語科非常勤講師のサイモン・ベデロ氏の呼びかけのもと、「コンゴと日本が共により良い社会を目指す」ことを目的に、2008年に自立運営が可能な学校づくりをするプロジェクトとして始動しました。学校づくりを通じて培ってきた関係性を基に、現地のNGOや起業家、大学院生と様々なプロジェクトが今まさに展開され始めています。実際に、専門性を持ってコンゴの国を動かしている人たちとの協働を通して、コンゴに存在する社会問題への理解と、一筋縄では解決できない難しさ、そしてコンゴを通して俯瞰して日本を観られるなど数多くの学びがあります。2021年は、個人の強みを活かした活動を通しオンライン化でのコンゴとのコラボレーションの土台を築くことを目指しています。新たな学生が集結し、これまでの関係性を活動の下地として新体制で一緒に新しい活動を作っていきませんか。

■コミュニティーデザインプロジェクト （Community Design Project）
▽プロジェクト紹介：SFCと周辺の地域が日常的に関わる地域性を創出することを目的として活動しているプロジェクトです。「大学と地域が共に同じ目線で学び連携していくこと」、また「協働的”適材適所”」を理念に掲げ活動しています。それぞれの好きなことや強みを中心に、メンバーや地域の方の特色を生かしながら関わることを大切にしています。
今年度は「みんなの食堂」という遠藤地域の多世代交流を目的としたイベントを対面で開催しました。また、SFC高校の「環境プロジェクト」と毎週オンラインミーティングを行っています。2021年度春学期から「SDGsマルシェ」という藤沢地域からSDGsの発信を行うマルシェの運営にも携わっています。日常的に縁側事業「もんのきの家」へ伺ったり、野菜の収穫体験などで地域の生産者の方と関わらせていただいています。さらに、特別研究プロジェクトの運営やSNS等での広報活動を行っています。
秋学期は授業以外に、みんなの食堂（2ヶ月に1回定期開催予定）、SFC高校の環境プロジェクトとの活動（日曜隔週）を定期開催し、縁側事業もんのきの家（水曜3限）や地域の農作業に関わらせていただきます。 また、SDGsマルシェの運営、そのほか地域イベントに参加予定です。（感染症の拡大状況により内容が変わる可能性があります。）

■ローカル・アクティブラーニングプロジェクト(Local Active-learning Project)
▽プロジェクト紹介：私たちは、「教育」から取り組む地域づくりをテーマに、主に学校や行政・地域の方々と協力しながら、中学生を対象とした活動をしています。具体的には、異文化交流や地域理解の要素を含んだプログラムの企画運営、基礎学力向上のための学習支援等を長野県木曽郡木曽町開田高原を拠点に行っています。開田高原は御嶽山の麓に広がっている高原で、「日本一美しい村」の一つにも選定されています。今年の夏には、中学校の授業内の「御嶽タイム」という地域教育を行う時間の中で、本年度は、中学生が様々な分野で活躍している社会人にインタビューをする企画を行いました。マナビバ（学習支援）では、自主学習サポートにとどまらず、オンラインツールを用いた講義・個別学習相談等を交えお互いの理解を深めることを大切にしています。また、地域の方々・行政・先生方との地道な関係構築・対話をしながら、子どもたちに対して多様な教育機会を創出しています。

■羽後高校プロジェクト
▽プロジェクト紹介：本プロジェクトは、秋田県雄勝郡羽後町に位置する秋田県立羽後高等学校を拠点に活動しています。町唯一の高校であり、生徒数減少による廃校の危機にあるということから羽後町より依頼を受け活動が始まりました。私たち羽後高校プロジェクトは、高校と地域と大学が協働し、高校生のやりたいことをカタチにすることで「羽後高校の魅力化」、「羽後高校の存続」を目指しています。具体的な活動として、総合的な探究の時間「羽後学」の授業設計から運営、及び高校生へのサポートを行なっています。身近な社会に目を向けながら高校生が社会でどのようなアクションを起こしていけるのかを探究する授業を行っています。そこでは、高校生自身の興味分野に合った活動にするため自己探究の時間を設け、高校生の主体的な学びを実現するために工夫を凝らした授業設計を心がけています。その他にも高校生がオンラインでSFCに留学する「SFCオンライン留学」や放課後の時間に高校生と関わり、学外での活動をサポートする「みらいクリエイティ部」があり、ナナメの関係である大学生と共に学びながら、高校生自身が主体的に「やりたい」ことを実践することができる生きた学びの場を作っています。 今後も地域住民、地域に根差した企業、行政、大学との繋がりを意識し、進学校やスポーツ強豪校に変わる、魅力ある学校のあり方を追求し、羽後高校存続を目指していきます。

■屋久島町口永良部島プロジェクト
口永良部島プロジェクトは11年目を迎えております。具体的な活動として、大学生や高校生を対象とした口永良部島で開催する研修プログラム、屋久島・口永良部島の小中学生をSFCに招待して開催する学習合宿等の相互交流が行われました。また、数ヶ月から一年間の長期滞在をする学生が継続的にいます。2019年には口永良部島出身の高校生がSFCに入学するなど、プロジェクトの枠を越えた地域と大学の関係性が築かれています。部活動で長期滞在が難しい学生も、時間を見つけて短期滞在をして学びを深めております。
本プロジェクトに所属してきた学生は、島社会に興味がある人や人間的に成長していきたい人、漠然と島でリラックスしたいと考える人、異文化や教育に興味がある人など多種多様です。しかし、そんな学生たちが口永良部島へ赴き、「人生が変わった」「人間的に成長できた」「一生涯関わり続けたい」と全員が感じます。口永良部島には、単なる島社会という域を超えた魅力があります。口永良部島の島民には、単なる小社会という域を超えた魅力があります。口永良部島の環境は、単なる雄大な自然という域を超えた魅力があります。口永良部島プロジェクトでは、そんな素敵で奇妙で貴重な経験をできます。

■ちびっこプロジェクト
▽プロジェクト紹介：本プロジェクトは2019年9月に発足したこの研究会で最も新しいプロジェクトです。名前の通り子ども、特に幼稚園生から小学生を対象に活動しています。普段は、メンバー内での意見交換の他に実際に国内の幼稚園や小学校といった「教育現場」に足を運んでいます。また、学校機関以外にも様々な場所で子どもたちと関わっています。私たちは子どもの時期こそ、ありのままでいられる時なのではないかと考えています。教育において「ありのままでいること」、「素直になること」は大事な要素です。その為、子どもたちとコミュニケーションをとり、様々な活動をしていくことにはたくさんの学びがあります。私たちのプロジェクト目標は「一人一人のありのままを伝え、理解し合える教育をつくる」です。実際に「教育の現場」に潜り込み、まずは私たちなりに言語化していきます。そして、小学校でワークショップを開催したり、幼児教育に携わっている方と勉強会を開いたりなどしています。「子どもらしさ」と一言でいっても人それぞれ考えることは違うと思います。ぜひ、一人でも多くの「子ども」と関わり、自分自身の「子ども」への興味を深めていきましょう。

Yoko Hasebe’s laboratory conducts and creates what is thought to be necessary but does not exist in the local field in and outside of Japan through field activities and practices in the perspective of education, cross-cultural and cross-linguistic communication. Here, interpersonal communication skills, flexible judgement and action skills in a variety of fields will be improved. The students are divided into mainly 7 projects and each carry activities according to the field each are in charge of such as schools, rural areas and Africa. ■Glocal English Project
Glocal English Project holds English workshops at junior-high schools and high schools in and out of Japan. In addition, we hold workshops that allow the participating students to understand cross-culture and their own culture. Glocal is a word putting together Global and Local. Global stands for turning your eyes' to the wide world and having an interest to new things. Local stands for starting something new from your surroundings. We aim to have a Global view and take an action from our Local surroundings. Each of the members set research themes, for example, changes in learning attitude and learning motivation, or workshop design and so on. We conduct workshops based on the themes. Members are required to participate in several fieldworks held on Tuesdays (occasionally), hence, members CANNOT register classes “after 2nd period on Tuesdays”. ■Congo Project
This project started with SFC English instructor Simon Bedelo in 2008,originally as a project to create a school in Democratic Republic of the Congo that can be operated independently. Our field, the Democratic Republic of the Congo is the second largest country in Africa, and we mainly have been focusing on the field of Kinshasa which is the capital of DRC, pursuing our goal of “ To have a better society in both Japan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.” Through the previous activities, with various sectors such as Local NGO, entrepreneurs, students started working together: collaborating to achieve the goal. Recently, due to the situation of COVID-19 and our activities are online-based, yet all the sectors are passionate to maximize each potential.

■Community Design Project
Project Introduction: Our activity takes place in Fujisawa-shi Endo district, where SFC is located. Our goal is to create a neutral collaboration and a distinct characteristic of our University’s surrounding district. Towards our goal, we have the main ideas of “having the same view for a common understanding and cooperation” and “cooperative grouping”. Maximizing the strength each of the members holds, we emphasize making the most of Endo district’s characteristics within the communication.
This year, we held “Minna no Shokudo” (a local food education event of Endo district) to promote multi-generation communication of the local community. We also hold meetings with ”Kankyo Project” (in other words “Environment Project”) with students of SFC High School. Also, from Spring 2021, we are also volunteering in the administration of “SDGs Marche” (an event to propagate SDGs from Fujisawa district). In our daily basis, we visit the “Moñnoki House” (community house of Endo district), and also participate in local farming activities with vegetable producers. Also, we conduct extra-curricular projects and publicity activities through SNS.
From fall semester, we are planning to continue holding “Minna no Shokudo” (expecting once in 2 months), meetings with “Kankyo Project” of SFC High School (every other Sunday), taking part in “Moñnoki House” (every Wednesday), and participating in the local farming activities. Also, we are planning to continue partaking in the administration of “SDGs Marche”, and commit in other local events (unexpected changes may be made due to COVID-19).

Requirements: we would like to recruit people who put importance on the relationship that can be made by frequent communication with local residents in person and are able to maintain their effort towards our goal with tenacious attendance to the local area. Specifically, persons who have interest in local society, like to have communication with people or want to start activities with comprehending the characteristics and culture of the local area, or who want to ponder what kind of fields are attractive for you in the place which is familiar to you are ideal.

■Local Active-learning Project
This project is working on the community revitalization achieved through education. We are doing many activities with junior high school students by collaborating with different kinds of people in the region, such as teachers and local officials. Specifically, we plan and manage programs that include elements of cross-cultural exchange and regional understanding, and provide learning support to improve basic academic ability. Our field is Kaida Highlands in Kiso city, Nagano prefecture, and it was selected as one of the most beautiful villages in Japan”. This summer, we made a project called "Ontake Time" in which junior high school students have an interview with adults who are active in various fields. Through MANABIBA (learning support), we are doing not only supporting self-study, but also trying to deepen mutual understanding through lectures and individual learning consultations by using online tools. Furthermore, we are creating educational opportunities for junior highschool students by building steady relationships and dialogues with local people, governments, and teachers.

■Ugo High School Project
This project tries to make Ugo high school "attractive" since the local area is getting depopulated and the number of high school students are decreasing. The school which has the connection with other universities, high schools or local people is really attractive is my ideal society. I set that as a goal and I am promoting activities for high school to have a local connection in Ugo high school in Akita prefecture.
My field, Ugo prefecture in Akita prefecture is known as a "Town of nature, dancing and snow" and we can feel the historical and natural part of Japan. My main activity in the previous semester is "Ugogaku" and "training camp".
"Ugogaku" is to set the time to know "Ugo". We, university students, create the class for highschool students to shift their focus on the Ugo local society and try to let them realize what action they need to take for the society.
We even hold lessons, called "Mirai Creati-bu," to support high school students outside the school.
Through these activities, we are creating places where high school students can realize what they want to do by themselves, while learning from each other.
We will continue pursuing the new type of an attractive school which can replace preparatory schools or schools known for having strong sports clubs. While doing so, we want to cherish connections with local people, local companies, the government, and other universities.

■Elove Project
On Kuchinoerabu Island, Yakushima Town (hereinafter referred to as Kuchinoerabu Island), which is located 12 km west of Yakushima, about 100 islanders coexist with nature, surrounded by the magnificent and beautiful sea and active volcano Shindake. I am living a life while doing it.
The Kuchinoerabu Project is in its 11th year. As specific activities, mutual exchanges such as a training program for university students and high school students held on Kuchinoerabu Island and a learning camp held by inviting elementary and junior high school students from Yakushima and Kuchinoerabu Island to SFC will be held. I was struck. In addition, there are ongoing students who stay for a long period of several months to a year. In 2019, high school students from Kuchinoerabu Island enrolled in SFC, establishing a relationship between the region and the university that transcends the boundaries of the project. Of course, even students who have difficulty staying for a long time due to club activities find time to stay for a short time to deepen their learning.
The students who have belonged to this project are diverse, including those who are interested in island society, those who want to grow personally, those who vaguely want to relax on the island, and those who are interested in different cultures and education. However, all of these students go to Kuchinoerabu Island and feel that their lives have changed, that they have grown up personally, and that they want to continue to be involved for the rest of their lives. Kuchinoerabu Island has a charm that goes beyond mere island society. The islanders of Kuchinoerabu Island have a charm that goes beyond mere small society. The environment of Kuchinoerabu Island has a charm that goes beyond mere magnificent nature. The Kuchinoerabu Island Project gives you such a wonderful, strange and valuable experience.

■Chibikko Project
This project is the newest one and it started in September 2019. As the name of the project shows, we work with kindergarten and elementary students. Usually, we not only exchange opinions with project members but also we actually visit kindergartens and elementary schools in Japan. We also work with kids out of schools. We think that childhood is the time that people can truly be as themselves. Being honest to your feelings is an important element in education. That is why communicating with kids has lots to learn. Our project vision is to find out the way of education and how to understand each other by being honest like kids. For that we actually visit the site of education and create our own theory. Not only that we hold workshops at schools and study with people familiar in preschool education. The image of how a child is should be different in each person. Let's get involved with as many kids as possible and deepen your interests.
