Course Summary

This seminar will help students to deepen understanding about recent various global economic issues. The first half will focus on students' presentation on short articles and discussions. The topics will depend on the content of articles published at around the seminar period and may cover topics including debt problems in developing countries, climate issues, SDGs, diversity, US economic policy under Mr. Biden, China's economy, Japan's economy and aging, monetary easing, linkage between monetary policy and fiscal policy, financial market development, COVID-19 pandemic, etc.
