Course Summary

“Advanced Biosciences” seminars (Tomita, Naito, Kuroda, Kanai, Soga, Arakawa, Suzuki, Tsujimoto) are operated along with “Systems Biology Project” for graduate students. All members, including faculty members, graduate students, and undergraduate students are involved in research projects. All undergraduate students must take Dr. Tomita’s “Introduction to Systems Biology” for the first semester in order to join our “Advanced Biosciences” seminars. We conduct ecological research on the organisms living in the Antarctic and the Arctic ecosystems which are currently under the pressure of environmental changes.
