Course Summary

Academic Writing Foundations is designed to help students develop their academic writing skills by focusing on academic vocabulary development, editing, sentence structure, and paragraph creation. Through a series of writing assignments, students will practice using academic vocabulary in context, identifying and correcting common errors in grammar and sentence structure, and crafting coherent and meaningful paragraphs. The course will emphasize the development of critical thinking skills and the ability to organize ideas effectively.
