Course Summary

In this course, you will learn to write simple academic essays in English, expressing your own opinions and referencing external material. You will learn to analyse and respond to material that comes from a mixture of reading homework. film and other media, and in-class discussions. You will also learn how to structure a full dissertation in English, although you will not be required to write a full dissertation for this course.
