Course Summary

This Special Research Project B aims to acquire exceptional mathematical analysis knowledge and practical skills necessary to explore perceptual and cognitive phenomena from a mathematical psychological perspective. Specifically, students will work on computer implementation and numerical computation of mathematical models using differential equations, linear algebra, and probability. We aim to apply the knowledge gained to a deep understanding of perceptual and cognitive phenomena such as space perception, shitsukan perception, self-motion sensation, visual information processing, memory, and decision-making.
