Course Summary

Strategic Management is both a topic of management studies and a daily activity of management professionals. This course firstly introduces the economics-based theories developed by management scholars who consider strategic management as an empirical field of social science. Further, this course also covers the basic frameworks developed for practitioners and the cases of strategic management conducted on the ground by business leaders, in order for the participants to learn how management professionals conduct strategic management in the modern business environment.
