Bilingualism and Heritage Languages
This seminar will introduce the main concepts of bilingualism and heritage language as an individual and social issue. In this context, we will focus on the analysis of the Spanish language as a heritage language. The students will develop an understanding of bilingual education and analyze the language problems of ethnic minorities to maintain the heritage languages. We will also focus on materials development for the Spanish heritage language learners.
