Culture and Society in Korea

Course Summary

In this project you will be put in a group to create a research question and discuss as well as research about a topic that has to do with Korea. The topics to choose from are, ①The preservation and education of culture and history ②Measures taken for multicultural coexistence, ③The current location of Hallyu (The Korean wave) and the making of a tourism oriented nation. Research will be done through both documents as well as field work. The aim is to get a better understanding of Korea and learn how to do humanities research first hand.
