Focusing on the life world in which people carry out their daily activities, this course examines the roles of civil society, communities, and social activities like mutual assistance activities and the activities related to local beliefs. Through the examination, the course explores the nature of publicness in the world of human life from an interdisciplinary research perspective among sociology, history, political science, and cultural anthropology.
