Course Summary

(1)Penal Code specifies requirements in which punishments could be invoked by a state. In general, criminal law lectures are to be organized into its general parts and its specific parts. The general parts discuss about common elements of crimes. The specific parts discuss about specific elements of each crime. Learn the basic ideas of them.

(2)In order to be in touch with the reality of criminal justice, students are requested to view "Alternative Justice Congress"(5 days)(※)In lectures, some prerequisite knowledge is provides.

(3)Let's try
(a)Read a case in a judicial case collection book.
(b)Read documents for prosecutor's indictment.
(c)Try to answer some questions of Civil Servents examinations and National Bar exsaminations. They could be answered by using the basic knowledges gained in this lecture.
