Detail

Course Summary

The main objective of this lab is to prototype haptic representations using multi-modalities (vision, touch, sound, smell, and taste) using digital fabrication technologies. By combining the basic level of engineering, behavioral science, and psychological study, we implement haptic technology in real life in multiple contexts.

This seminar requires lab members to study the assignments that we decided on.

Touch Lab 1 focuses on fabrication, and Touch Lab 2 mainly focuses on scientific research using sensing technology. These labs are not exclusive so that students who want to take both labs are welcome.
