Course Summary

This Special Research Project B aims to acquire the outstanding skills necessary to explore the perception science of spatial and textural information. In particular, we will focus on developing practical skills and understanding the fundamentals of psychophysical measurement methods and mathematical psychology. We will deal with perceptual and cognitive phenomena such as space perception, shitsukan perception, vection, perception and motion, and memory. We will touch on mathematical model construction and mathematical models using differential equations and linear algebra.
