Course Summary

While the development of ICT makes people's lives more convenient and affluent, it may increase social disparities based on the capability to utilize ICT services or not. In addition, the use of those services without sufficient understanding may even expose users to unexpected risks. This seminar will discuss the policies necessary to improve the utilization of ICT throughout society from various aspects, such as promotion and regulation, including a global viewpoint.
