Course Summary

This research seminar B (2): Applied ("kenkyu-kai B-applied") is designed to promote individual and group research on population and social dynamics. Students will be expected to undertake independent (or group) research projects and share their progress periodically throughout the semester. While the expectation is that these individual or group research projects will focus on topics such as international population movements, migration and refugees, ethnicity, multiculturalism, etc., students may choose to research a topic that is not directly related to the aforementioned areas with the instructor's approval.

* Those who are completing their graduation projects under the instructor's supervision are expected to enroll in this research seminar B (2).
