Course Summary

 This study group will deal with events related to cities and regions. Specifically, for example, "urban planning, regional planning, urban development, city center revitalization, compact city, walkable, land use, historic landscape preservation, disaster recovery, public-private partnerships, and renovated urban planning" are some of the keywords.
 The purpose of this study group is to cultivate the ability to understand urban and regional issues and their backgrounds, and to develop a process and methods for solving these issues, through reading books on urban development, field surveys, and fieldwork.
 And, this study group will also include presentations and discussions on the progress of graduation projects.
